The House Oversight Committee has published a set of approximately 70 photographs secured from the holdings of deceased found guilty sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the latest in a series of release from a larger collection of more than 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It contains images of quotes from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and redacted pictures of female international passports.

This release comes mere hours before the 19 December cut-off for the Justice Department to disclose each records related to its probe into Epstein.

"These new photographs raise further questions about precisely what the DOJ has in its custody," remarked the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photographs Made Public

Some of the photos published on this week depict Epstein speaking with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a personal aircraft; Bill Gates seen beside a individual whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk across from Epstein, and ex- Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest affluent, prominent individuals to be seen in Epstein estate images published by the House Oversight Committee - previously published images also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Being pictured in the images is does not constitute indication of any wrongdoing, and many of the featured figures have asserted they were never implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a statement accompanying the image release, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply context or dates for the images.

"Photographs were selected to furnish the general populace with clarity into a representative sample of the images received from the holdings, and to provide insights into Epstein's associates and his extremely troubling activities," the release states.

The release also features multiple photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in dark ink across several locations of a woman's body, including her upper body, feet, pelvis, and back. Lolita tells the account of a young girl who was exploited by a adult literature professor.

A particular excerpt from the work written across a female's chest reads, "Lo-lee-ta: the end of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to alight, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of images of female travel documents and official papers from nations worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the IDs, such as names and birth dates, is censored but the House Oversight Committee said in a statement that the travel documents pertain to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

A further photograph shows Epstein sitting at a desk intimately in the company of three individuals whose features have been obscured - one has her hand on Epstein's chest under his clothing, and another individual is bending to examine a close-by laptop. Epstein can be seen to be helping the third individual fasten a bracelet.

An additional photo made public is a screenshot of text messages from an unnamed sender who claims they have been provided "a number of girls" and are demanding "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Image Release Comes Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The body has thousands of photos in its holdings from the Epstein holdings, which are "at once graphic and mundane," its announcement on recently explained.

The Congressional committee first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who passed away in a New York prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The photographs and files the Epstein property submitted to the panel are distinct from what is often called "Epstein-related records". That material are records in the justice department's custody related to its own inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which Donald Trump made law recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to disclose its documents. The extent of the contents found in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's likely that much of the content will be heavily censored, similar to the committee's documents
