Loyal supporters of the pop star are demanding that a man who breached a barricade and grabbed the actress during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A viral video shows the individual from Australia shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade surrounded by supporters.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the shocked actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was due to be present on the next day. It is uncertain if he was faced legal action.

Record of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed features videos of him interrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the area last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is clearly a legal violation," wrote an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Voice Worry Over the Star's Past Trauma

Many fans blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said one more response on Instagram.

Some attendees also criticised guards at the premiere for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals requested online networks to ban Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the event, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.

Many of fans had congregated in a mass of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had queued for as long as eight hours before it commenced.

The film, to be premiered on November 21, is the second of a two-part version of the acclaimed Broadway and West End show Wicked, which revolves around the unexpected friendship between two contrasting characters.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was adorned in a light pink glittering gown at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were alongside cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful film of the previous year in the UK, and scored 10 Academy Award nods, earning two for outstanding attire and production design.
