Recent incidents have highlighted these risks, including a significant disruption affecting global cloud computing and recent cyber-attacks that halted manufacturing at major factories and logistics systems across various businesses.

A ex-military leader of the the nation's space operations center will report back next month on how the publicly-supported center can optimally help the scope of official artificial intelligence goals in national security, national security and information gathering.

The center's head, a previous Amazon UK leader, confirmed that multiple research initiatives at the 440-staff institute have been terminated, transferred out or completed because they fail to match with the fresh focus.

Organizational Difficulties
