Vince Zampella, Dies in an LA Car Crash

The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio that he helped create.

The renowned game designer passed away following his automobile collided and caught fire on a highway in LA on Sunday morning, according to.

"This represents an unimaginable loss, and our hearts are with Vince's loved ones, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
